What We Do
Connected Midwifery Wide Bay works in collaboration with General Practitioners and Community Services to improve engagement and outcomes for women and their babies by offering a community-based, personalised maternity service.
We are a team of three midwives and an infant sleep consultant, experienced in the delivery of community based maternity and newborn care.
Who we are
Vision Statement
To facilitate connections between women, their children and families, communities and clinicians; in a way that fosters trust, maternal identity and belonging.
Mission Statement
To encourage engagement in evidence-based maternity care through the provision of continuity of care provider, utilising local family GP’s, allied and community health services and wellness initiatives to provide a holistic maternity care service focusing on the women’s needs.
